High West Distillery located in Utah takes 6 year old Straight Rye Whiskey from Indiana and blends it with 16 year old Straight Rye Whiskey from Kentucky. The result is something magical. A nose full of caramel, rye spice, and oak. The mouthfeel is creamy and loaded with baking spices. All this comes together with a finish that goes on for miles. What you end up with is all the assertiveness from the young rye and all the wood depth of the older rye.
