Henry Mckenna single barrel, bottled in bond, 10 year old bourbon is distilled by Heaven Hill in Bardstown, Kentucky. Named for an Irish distilled that emigrated to Kentucky in 1837 and also bringing his family whiskey recipe. At a time when popular bourbons are losing their age statements and getting younger by the day it is still a shock that this wonderful whisky can be found on the shelves for around $30. A true crowd pleaser with big notes of caramel, vanilla, brown sugar, warm apple pie, and cinnamon.
